This degree programme allows students to achieve proficiency in one of the Asian or North African languages, with a special focus on the economic and legal jargon, and gain an in-depth knowledge of the economic, legal, historical and political aspects of the geographical area of reference. Students will also acquire a sound knowledge of socio-linguistic and communication processes, as well as familiarity with IT and electronic means of communication, both in general and with reference to their language of specialisation.

To be admitted to this Second Cycle Degree Programme students must possess a proper individual educational background and the minimum curricular requirements. A certified knowledge of English at minimum level B2 is also required: the assessment will be done at enrollment.

Second-cycle graduates may be employed in businesses and financial institutions operating in Asian and North African markets, in national and international public organisations, within volunteers’ facilities and institutions operating in co-operation and development sectors. They may also perform their professional activity in organisations and institutions in the field of economic, social and cultural integration, within sectors of the specialised press and technical-scientific publishing, and in specialist consulting in the economic-financial field.
