University of VigogoalsThe Master's Degree in Labor Management and Direction pursues the following objectives:Improve the professionalism of graduates in degrees or degrees related to labor relations and human resources.
Increase the academic background of people from the degree with a specialization program.
Respond to a broad social demand existing in the Autonomous Community of Galicia among large groups, basically social graduates, graduates in labor relations, graduates in labor science and graduates in labor relations and human resources.
Establish an interuniversity program in which the three Galician universities are involved at the same level, without prejudice to the need for coordination between them, and under the sponsorship and close collaboration of the Ministry of Labor and Welfare. This coordination will facilitate, through the precise mobility of teachers and students, a higher quality of teaching. More specifically, it is intended that students obtain the following general and specific skills.General CompetencesAcquire a broad knowledge of the basic institutions of the socio-labor field, especially Labor Law and Social Security.
Develop the knowledge, skills and aptitudes that allow a suitable direction and labor management.
Know how to recognize the economic aspects of Social Security and Labor Relations.
Develop the capacity for organization, planning and decision making.
Acquire the necessary knowledge in the labor, tax and Social Security fields to provide socio-labor advisory services.
Plan and organize the prevention of occupational risks in companies.
Select and draw up the appropriate employment contracts for each employment situation.

Specialty in Human Resource Management (UDC)The common core of the master's degree is taught in the first semester at the three universities. In the second semester, each university will teach the subjects of the corresponding specialization.
The student must enroll in the optional subjects corresponding to the specialty chosen. The degree cannot be issued if the student has not completed any of the specialties. If the student completes all the subjects related to each of the specialties, they will be able to obtain the Master's degree with the three specialties.
Students may be students of one university and enroll in subjects at the other university without undergoing a transfer of file in accordance with the provisions of the Agreement.
Credit transfer and recognition:
Recognition of credits: consists of the acceptance by a university of the credits that were obtained in an official education, in the same or in another university, and that are computed in other different teachings for the purposes of obtaining an official degree.
Transfer of credits: implies that in the official academic documents accrediting the successive teachings for each student, the totality of the credits obtained in official teachings taken previously, in the same or in another university, that have not led to the obtaining of an official title.SaidasIt should be borne in mind that the potential of the labor market to absorb professionals from human resources, labor relations, legal advice on these matters and social security is great. In fact, there has been a longstanding demand from middle-level graduates and Social Graduates and graduates in Labor Relations for the possibility of expanding their studies in a dimension of advancement of their employability and their situation in the labor market. In addition, the possibility of this extension is given to students who have completed the Degree in Labor Relations and Human Resources.
