The Master's Degree in LGBTIQ + Studies , in this sense, is a pioneering initiative, since there are no proposals in Spain or in any Spanish-speaking country for official university degrees that focus entirely on the LGBTIQ + field. The contents of this new degree from the Complutense University include the historical, social and educational construction of gender diversity; the theoretical foundations of LGBTIQ + studies; trans studies and policies; LGBTIQ + social movements; queer theories and pedagogies; management of sexual diversity and gender identity in organizations; and the LGBTIQ + perspective in the artistic and cultural field. LGBTIQ + studies include studies that have called into question the binary model and / or a unique gender / sexual identity / orientation, and have given visibility and recognition to all diversity: people of fluid gender, undefined gender, alternative sexualities, dissidents and diversities, sexualities and gender identities.
