The MUPHIG provides specialized training in the field of Historical Heritage through a dual orientation: research and professional. In turn, its contents are structured into two specialties:Artistic and archaeological heritage
Documentary and bibliographic heritageOne of its great guarantees is the city in which it is developed, Toledo, because its wealth of heritage offers multiple possibilities of use for teaching. The archives, libraries, museums, archaeological sites, tourist offices and other heritage settings that it houses are ideal spaces to carry out the external internships of the Master and to develop the visits that are scheduled in its different subjects in order to complete the student's training beyond the classroom.Training objectivesThe main objectives of the MUPHIG are:Offer a quality postgraduate degree, which provides the student with specialized and up-to-date training in research and management of Historical Heritage.

This is supported by the opinion of those responsible for the collaborating entities in the development of external internships, the agreements signed with said institutions and the work carried out by graduate students. Museum TechniciansAll labor and professional information is provided by the professors and tutors of the Master, as well as by specialized information and employment guidance instruments of the UCLM, in the case of the CIPE-OBEM (Information and Promotion Center for Employment and Office of Search of Employment-Business Motivation) at the Toledo Campus.
The completion of the Master will also allow access to the research phase of the Doctorate studies, aimed at preparing the doctoral thesis.Admission profileThis Master is specifically aimed at graduates or graduates in Humanities and other degrees related to their field, such as History, Geography, Art History, Fine Arts, Tourism, Architecture or any other analogous, as determined by the Academic Commission of the Master.Admission criteriaThe Academic Committee of the Master will take into account the following criteria when evaluating the pre-registrations submitted:Degrees belonging to the branch of Arts and Humanities
Profile and adaptation of the previous training to the contents of the Master
Other academic or training merits (other degrees, postgraduate degrees, courses, conferences, publications ...)
Professional experience in the field of the Master
Accredited languages. For those applicants who do not have it as their native language, a level of C1 in Spanish is requiredFor this reason, it is mandatory to attach this model of curriculum vitae to the pre-registration document manager.
The Academic Committee of the Master may conduct a personal interview in the cases in which it is considered convenient to specify the degree of adaptation to the entry profile of some applicants, especially if they do not have a degree in the branch of Arts and Humanities.
