Required. 12 creditsPracticesStudents have a large number of Institutions, organizations and companies with which the Ortega y Gasset Institute has signed collaboration agreements, in which they can carry out internships that will be accredited upon completion. They are important in the training of students and allow them to come into contact with professional fields of interest to them. However, it must be remembered that in Research Master's degrees, internships are not equivalent to ECTS credits and, therefore, are not scored.
The hours of completion of the practices will be established according to the characteristics of the same and the availability of the student. The schedules, in any case, will be compatible with the academic activity, training and representation and participation developed by the student in the Foundation. With regard to the duration of the practices, these will not exceed the maximum allowed in the current regulations.

Communication Consultants (practices in communication, marketing, etc.)It should be borne in mind that, at the student's request, the Ortega y Gasset University Institute will always agree to propose the signing of a new internship agreement with other entities of their interest. On the other hand, it is important to point out that the practices are subject to the availability of vacant places by the receiving institution, a circumstance that this center cannot always guarantee.Admission requirementsThe Master's program is mainly aimed at graduates in Philology, Theory of Literature and Comparative Literature, Humanities, Fine Arts, History of Art, Information Sciences, Law, Business Management and Administration, but they can also register students (graduates or with a bachelor's degree), trained in other areas of knowledge in the field of Social Sciences. It will be advisable to have a good knowledge of the English language in order to access the program, and knowledge of other languages will also be evaluated as an evaluative merit.
To take the Master's degree, it will be necessary to hold a bachelor's, graduate, engineer or similar degree.
To apply for admission to the Master's Degree in Contemporary Culture: Literature, Art Institutions and Cultural Communication, it will be necessary to meet in one of the following situations:Be in possession of an official Spanish university degree (university degree, undergraduate degree or similar).
Be in possession of a degree issued by an institution of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), and that empowers, in the country of issuance, to access Master's education.
Be in possession of a university degree from educational systems outside the EHEA:With authorization or permission of access by the Complutense University of Madrid or with a degree approved by the Ministry of Education.For graduates of educational systems outside the EHEA who wish to apply for admission to the Master in Contemporary Culture program, prior verification by the Complutense University of Madrid will require that these university studies accredit a level of education equivalent to official university degrees. Spanish and that empower, in the country that issued the degree, to access postgraduate studies.
The access to master's degree studies in this way will not imply, in any case, the homologation of the previous Title of the interested party or its recognition for other purposes than that of studying the Master's degree requested. Title that gives access to the studies, Substitute Certification, receipt of having paid the issuance rights or European Supplement to the Title (SET).
In the case of not providing the SET, an academic certification of the studies carried out, stating the subjects passed and the grades obtained. Resolution of the homologation or declaration of equivalence to degree and academic level. Failing that, a copy of the concession or of the application for the access permit granted by the UCM, except in the case of application in Master's courses for the exercise of regulated professions.
Those students pending resolution of Master's Access by the UCM, must provide at the time of applying for admission a certification, issued by the competent body, proving that the degree gives access in the country of origin to postgraduate studies.
