The Master in Community Social Work, Management and Evaluation of Social Services (60ECTS) is professional and has begun to be taught as such 2010-2011. The University Master in Community Social Work, Management and Evaluation of Social Services is a professional Master that offers two training itineraries: Community and Management. With a duration of one year (60 ECTS), the coordination headquarters are located in the Department of Social Work and Social Services of the UCM Faculty of Social Work. It is a very suitable program for those graduates or graduates who wish to do a PhD later.

The objectives for those who study it are to obtain advanced training in Social Work in group and community processes, deepening in the development of the organizational capacity of the groups and the community and in the acquisition of advanced techniques for planning, designing and implementing programs. and projects, as well as public and private management models and evaluation of social services.

Recipients

It is intended primarily for people who have prior training in Social Sciences, particularly in Social Work, who want to expand their training and develop their skills in the field of Community Social Work and Management and Evaluation of Social Programs and Projects, to obtain advanced knowledge in the profession.

The University Master's Degree includes external internships in prestigious public and private social entities, so that the knowledge acquired in the training period is reinforced and reflected in professional skills. The access requirements require being in possession of an official Spanish degree and, if a foreigner, that they authorize in the country of issue for access to postgraduate university education. Adequate knowledge of the Spanish language is also required. People who do not come from the EHEA must also attach to this documentation, the permission to access the University Master's degree issued by the UCM (it will be valid even if it had been obtained in previous academic courses and in accordance with regulations prior to RD 1393/2007) or , in case of being processed, the receipt of having requested it.

Admission requirements for masters

Non-enabling university masters

  • Be in possession of any of the following titles:
    • Spanish official university degree .
    • Title issued by an institution of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and empowering in the country of issue for access to Master's education.
    • Title of educational systems outside the EHEA that empowers in the country of issuance for access to Master's education, homologated or declared equivalent to the degree and academic level of Degree or Degree by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training . In case of lacking the mentioned homologation or equivalency, it will be necessary to have authorization or access permission granted by this University.
  • Or be carrying out during the course in which you pre-enroll studies leading to the obtaining of any of the previous degrees and be in a position to prove the obtaining of the same before September 30, 2020 .
  • In addition, students from foreign educational systems, whose mother tongue is different from Spanish, must prove level B2 of the Spanish language (or higher) .
