Master's Scholarship: see relevant information here .AboutThe three departments of Art History of the Faculty of Geography and History: I (Medieval), II (Modern) and III (Contemporary), jointly offer the Master's Degree in Advanced Studies in Spanish Art History, the first of these characteristics in the framework of Postgraduate studies at the Spanish University. This master is intended for all those who wish to achieve a higher and specialized training in Spanish art.
Its program has an academic and scientific character that will make it possible to specialize, either in one of the great periods in the history of Spanish art or as a whole. Likewise, it will provide the student with knowledge of the research methodology and the latest proposals and research in this field.
The participation of a teaching staff made up of leading specialists guarantees the objectives proposed in this master's degree, and the proximity of large museums, archives, libraries and cultural institutions offers students unique opportunities to approach emblematic works of Spanish art, as well as funds essential documentaries for your study.

goalsThe present Master's Degree is a specialization in the History of Spanish Art, either in one of its three periods - Middle Ages, Modern and Contemporary Ages, or in general, with a view to completing a Doctorate.
Its main objective is the knowledge of the methodology and sources of Spanish art, necessary for specialized research.RecipientsMainly graduates / graduates in Art History or similar: Fine Arts, Humanities, History, etc. In the case of foreign candidates, it is necessary to be in possession of level B2 of the Spanish language.Why study this master?This degree will give access to higher education, applied research, management and documentation of the historical-artistic heritage, etc.Admission requirements for mastersNon-enabling university mastersBe in possession of any of the following titles:Spanish official university degree .
Title issued by an institution of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and empowering in the country of issue for access to Master's education.
Title of educational systems outside the EHEA that empowers in the country of issuance for access to Master's education, homologated or declared equivalent to the degree and academic level of Degree or Degree by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training . In case of lacking the mentioned homologation or equivalency, it will be necessary to have authorization or access permission granted by this University.
