Master in Strategic Planning in Sports Tourism (MTD), Given by IMEP, is a University Title itself endorsed by the Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche (UMH).

This postgraduate course is aimed at professionals and / or university graduates who wish to expand their knowledge and professional skills by training in the area of ​​strategic design and development in the tourism and sports sectors.

To this end, key aspects of strategic planning and management are addressed in these sectors in order to generate image and brand reputation, paying special attention to the organization and planning of major sporting events.

The MTD student will be able to choose the type of studies that best suits his needs, face-to-face or online. Both modalities follow the same curriculum and pursue the same objectives, endowing the student with the same competencies.

Objectives of the Master

  • Provide the student with the knowledge and techniques necessary for the management and institutional and / or business organization related to sports tourism.
  • To provide the student with the necessary tools to face the new challenges offered by the major Sports Events as a model of tourism and economic development.
  • Train the student to design instruments for the management of a sports tourism company.
  • Train managers and qualified staff with human and business skills that enable them to manage companies and institutions in the field of sports tourism.

  • Be graduated from official university studies.
  • Possessing a university degree or similar diploma issued by a public university (minimum academic load of 120 cr.)
