The Master's main objectives are to give an additional and specialized training in the fields of international economics (theoretical and applied, real and monetary) and provide the study of characteristics and trends of processes of globalization and economic integration, emphasizing a multidisciplinary approach, economic , political, legal and institutional European integration and its current issues.
The Master is intended primarily to complete the formation of the first cycle for all those interested in acquiring specialized and professional skills in the fields of international economics and economics and European institutions; in particular, it is aimed at interested in a career in the EU and international institutions, the diplomatic service, international business or journalism specializing in teaching activities and scientific research, as well as the staff of companies and other public and private institutions advanced training needs in the area.
ACCESS QUALIFICATIONS AND SELECTION CRITERIA
Applications are considered national academic degree holders or equivalent foreign to the 1st cycle in the areas of economics and social sciences in general. Are also evaluated other candidates deemed suitable by the scientific and pedagogical commission. Candidates are assessed based on the final rating of the 1st cycle, curriculum analysis and a possible interview.
The Master is organized into four semesters, totaling 120 credits. The first three semesters are fully satisfied with the curriculum component for a total of 78 credits, aimed at providing the student with the instrumental, interpersonal and systemic competencies on training in international economics and European studies. The fourth and final semester is devoted to the preparation of the final master's work (TFM) - dissertation, project work or training - a total of 42 credits (of which 12 credits are obtained in the 3rd semester).
