The Master of Science in Economics will provide graduates a thorough knowledge of economic issues, good command of analytical tools and principles and the applicable legal institutions, so as to enable them to use the economic logic to address their problems of economic systems, companies and national and international institutions.
In parallel to the training classroom, on the basis of the analytically identified under paragraph three of this document, the educational objective that is to be achieved is strongly oriented to the acquisition of vocational skills a lot to be achieved through certain activities educational workshops organized in three labs that already exist within the DiGiEc and included in the curriculum of the course of LM-56 magisterial study. In fact, the global training activities planned for setting up the course of study is specifically aimed at providing the student with a specialization to be framed in one of the following three areas: (auto) -imprenditorialità and start-ups; economics and management of archaeological heritage, cultural, tourist and environmental; analysis and study of criminal phenomenology, its economic implications and of the management and reuse of assets confiscated from organized crime. For this reason, and given the particular attention paid to this specific training session, it was intended to be assigned to the same, in the provision teaching of the course of study, the weight of 10 credits with the aim of giving a strong connotation to training the potential student on the basis of the specific peculiarities of the territory.
The course of study includes the achievement of 120 credits over two years of which 98 academic credits to be obtained by passing 10 examinations; 10 credits to be acquired through the workshop activities; 2 CFU to obtain through participation in the internship; and finally 16 CFU to be achieved through the preparation of the elaborate thesis.
The educational model adopted ensures the student an assisted learning throughout the curriculum with access to specially developed teaching materials and a repertoire of individual educational activities and / or group guided by teachers and tutors. Any conclusive evidence (examinations) are conducted in the presence, in the manner prescribed by the academic regulations.
