The objective of the University Master's Degree in Computing Technologies Applied to the Financial Sector is to provide its students with the necessary knowledge to participate in the development of software oriented to the financial markets. This development covers all phases of the software life cycle, from conception to maintenance, including analysis, design, implementation and verification.

ACCESS REQUIREMENTS

The one established by Royal Decree 1393/2007, modified by Royal Decree 861/2010

Be in possession of a degree in Engineering or Graduate in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, in any of its specialties, or similar title related to ICT.

ADMISSION PROFILE

This master's degree is aimed at people with a clear technical profile, such as graduates, graduates or engineers in Engineering related to Information and Communication Technologies. These graduates usually have the basic knowledge necessary to take this master's degree, among which are the following:

  • Basic knowledge in project management and development, with special emphasis on software projects
  • Knowledge and ability to develop software in classic programming languages
  • Basic knowledge in information systems and communications
  • Average level of English

It should be noted that knowledge about financial markets is not presupposed, since this knowledge is the subject of this master's degree.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

You can check the requirements of generic languages ​​required to take a master's degree at UC3M, depending on whether it is taught in Spanish, English or is bilingual.

FOREIGN STUDENTS

Once admitted to the Master, foreign students with a university degree issued by a higher education institution belonging to an educational system outside the EHEA, must, in order to formalize the registration, present the degree that proves the equivalent training that allows access to a postgraduate course, legalized through diplomatic channels or, as the case may be, through the sole legalization procedure or "Apostille of the Hague Convention". If necessary, the document must be accompanied by their official translation into Castilian.
