At RWTH Aachen University we want to ensure that you get an excellent start to your Master’s in Physics. Most graduates from universities other than RWTH Aachen need to pass additional subjects as condition for admission. These courses are part of the German-taught Bachelor degree in Physics. In the Master’s College, you can fulfill these admission requirements in specific courses taught in English some weeks before and during your Master’s program. Moreover, the complementing academic and social support will increase your chances of success.
The Master's College was developed by the RWTH International Academy in close cooperation with the Physics Institute and complements the Master's degree programme at the university. The Master's College is designed specifically for students who need to fulfil conditions for admission.
Your journey abroad and future studies will may be difficult and complex, but we will support you every step of the way. Our e-learning platform EddiMac gives you the opportunity to do exercises at home and to discuss your solutions with your future lecturers during a webinar. Once you arrive in Aachen our bridging courses will help prepare you for your studies and by means of close mentoring our support for you will continue throughout your degree program.
We offer support with all bureaucratic processes, e.g. opening a bank account or visa extension. By planning social events, we also help you
integrate into life in Aachen. In the program, you will immediately get in contact with other students, e.g. at a joint lunch on your first day of the Master’s College. We will show you around the historic city of Aachen, go nine-pin bowling with senior students, take you on a Scavenger Hunt with other students of the RWTH International Academy and organize exclusive excursions just for you.
