The Master's Degree in Sports Law provides graduates in law, as well as experienced lawyers, with the specific knowledge and particularities of the legal sports field, giving them a specific vision of the current situation of the sport and its legal organization.

This degree deals with sports law in an interdisciplinary way, focusing it from different perspectives, which allows students to adapt better to the specific needs that the practice of the legal profession requires before the different national and international sports institutions.

This degree is designed so that students receive practical training focused on learning dynamically all issues related to sports law. For this, teamwork, role-play sessions, debates, discussion forums and the simulation of judicial processes before national and international institutions are combined.


In addition, the program offers the possibility of visiting Public and Private Institutions, both national and international, such as FIFA and UEFA, the latter based in Switzerland.


The Master's Degree in Sports Law of the European University, addresses the law in an interdisciplinary way focusing from different perspectives, allowing students to better adapt to the specific needs required by the practice of law before the different sports institutions, both national as well as international character

WHAT DO WE DIFFERENTIATE?

    • National Visits: La Liga, RFEF, Villa de Madrid Country Club, CSD, other sports federations.
    • International visits in Switzerland *: FIFA, UEFA, etc.
  • Real Madrid CF offers a certain number of places for students to complete their internships in the Club's legal counsel.

OBJECTIVE:

To train highly specialized professionals with leadership skills in any of the disciplines related to sports, in addition to receiving a complete training that prepares them for:

  • Schedule training plans in the short, medium and long term in different
  • contexts.
  • Manage devices for analysis of human movement and control of
  • training.
  • Perform nutrition and natural supplementation diets, as well as timing intake.
  • Perform evaluations of performance and body composition.
  • Investigate and carry out scientific production.

The Master's Degree in Sports Law is aimed at graduates and law graduates, whose aspiration is to develop their knowledge in the legal-sports field.

Admission

The student will be fully enrolled in the 60 ECTS of which the Master is composed, with the maximum number of credits being the latter.

ACCESS REQUIREMENTS

For access to the Master's Degree in Sports Law, the student is required to comply with the legal requirement established in RD 861/2010:

  • Be in possession of an official Spanish university degree or other issued by a higher education institution belonging to another member state of the European Higher Education Area that authorizes access to Master's education.
  • Be in possession of a degree conforming to educational systems outside the European Higher Education Area without the need for homologation of their degrees, after verification by the University that they accredit a level of education equivalent to the corresponding official Spanish university degrees and that they authorize in the country issuing the diploma for access to postgraduate education.
  • The university degree that gives access to this Postgraduate is necessarily that of Law.
