Our Master of Science in Microbiology gives you the opportunity to learn in an environment of world-leading research. Program structure

The Master’s program in Microbiology aims to provide a complete understanding of the life of microorganisms with courses in microbiology and infection biology. There is plenty of space within the program to allow you to choose from a selection of additional elective courses so you can pursue a program adapted to your chosen career path.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for the program we require the equivalent to Bachelor's degree with a major in biology or molecular biology, including chemistry and biochemistry. In addition, you are required to show English proficiency equivalent to the Swedish high school level.

Application and tuition fees are required unless you are EU/EEA citizen or have long-term/permanent residency status in Sweden (or temporary residency for reasons other than studies).
