Master of Science in Mathematics
The Graduate program of Mathematics Department intends to raise the knowledge of students to the level in which they can contribute to research and education in pure and applied mathematics. At the graduate level, we offer three degrees. The first two are master degree in Mathematics (M.Sc.), with thesis and without thesis and Ph. D. in Mathematics.
Students can choose to study and research in Algebra, mathematical physics, numerical analysis, and hydrodynamics. The students having a B.Sc. degree in all branches of mathematics, mathematics education, engineering and science faculties can apply to the Mathematics Graduate Program.
The education given in this program is intended to qualify scientists as those who can pursue academic studies in theoretical and practical mathematics. Our graduates can find jobs in institutions of higher education and research.
The academic staff of this department consists of members making international contributions to their field of studies. Thanks to the limited number of students per each faculty member, academics have the chance to deal with the students’ individual needs. Our program supports interdisciplinary studies.
