The MSc. in International Business (formerly known as MSc in Management Science) is a 2-year, full-time programme organised by the Solvay Business School of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. It targets students - both Belgian and foreign - with academic bachelor’s degrees in Business Economics or Management (see below) who are looking for an English-language master’s programme with a distinct international and multidisciplinary flavour, and in an international setting.
The first year consists solely of compulsory courses. In the second year, you can personalise your curriculum by picking electives. If you want to turn theory into practice, you can combine an internship at a multinational company with the more theoretical part of your curriculum.
Candidates with a university bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a field related to business/management or economics who have obtained the minimum number of (European) credits in each of these subjects (a total of 96) may be admitted after a review of their application by the faculty admission board:
- Law (6 ECTS)
- Business/Management (24 ECTS)
- Economics (15 ECTS)
- Languages (15 ECTS)
- Quantitative methods (24 ECTS)
- Social Sciences (12 ECTS)
This list is not absolute; if you lack some credits you still could be found eligible to join this master. The only way to find out is to submit your application!
Additionally, in order to be admitted, you need to be proficient in English.
HOW TO APPLY
In order to apply, you have to fill in the online application form and upload the required documents before the application deadline.
