Everybody has an opinion on the subject. A lot of people talk about it. But who turns words into action? With a master of science in engineering degree in Environmental Technology you could restore life to a dead lake and create new sustainable solutions for the industry.
As a master student you can specialise in one of two areas: Aquatic Environment or Eco-efficient Engineering.
This is a two-year master programme. To study a master degree in Environmental Technology you must have a relevant bachelor degree (three years of previous study at university level).
At the master programme you choose an academic profile; the area in which you want to specialise.
Many different career options
With a master degree in Environmental Technology you will have a range of job opportunities – in Denmark and abroad. The degree qualifies you for work in, for example, the restoration of the natural environment or as a consultant in environmental issues and waste management.
It is also possible to continue on a three-year research programme which will lead to a PhD degree. Another option is to study an industrial research programme which is carried out in close cooperation with a company where you are employed.
Graduates who have completed this master programme are entitled to use the title of Master of Science (MSc) in Engineering (Environmental Technology).

Faculty of Engineering has adopted a student-centred approach to learning, and teaching is based on problem based projectwork. Students participate significantly in class and carry out project work in small teams. Learn more about the study environment from the students themselves.
1. A bachelor's degree in environmental engineering with a solid knowledge of basic ecology and fundamental chemistry.
Applicants with a similar bachelor’s degree if their academic qualifications correspond with the bachelor degree mentioned above.
