Program Description

The program is about controlling and managing supply chains. The main subject is business administration, with a focus on logistics and controlling.

This program combines logistics and management accounting, which is unique. There is a great need for graduates who understand value creation with the end consumer in focus through cooperation and integration within the organization as well as with other companies. One theme in the program is supply chains, which create efficiency with good supplier cooperation. Another is the use of management accounting to develop processes within and between companies. The first semester contains thus of specialization in either supply chain management or control. This follows by studies on the integration of supply chains and inter-organizational control, research methodology and e-business management and the program ends with a master thesis. After graduating you can find work as a Supply Planner, Business Controller, Management Consultant, Business Development Planner, After Sales Logistics Planner or pursue a research career. Language is English and with students from all over the world.

Entry Requirements

General entry requirements for second-cycle studies and specific entry requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a minimum of 90 credits in Business Administration, with a minimum of 15 credits in logistics/supply chain management/transportation/operations management, or the equivalent English B/6 or the equivalent.

Career

Management accountants and logisticians are changing towards supporting supply chain decisions based on an extrovert, international, offensive and business-oriented approach. The program prepares both for a professional career, as well as an academic research career and Ph.D. studies.

Degree

Master of Science in Business and Economics (120 credits) with specialization in Business Process Control and Supply Chain Management: Frontiers in Management Accounting & Business-Process Control OR Frontiers in Logistics & Supply Chain Management (Main field of study: Business Administration). Options for a 1-year (60 credits) degree exists.
