Burapha University Faculty of Management and TourismBurapha University offers a unique opportunity for you to live and study in the peaceful and tranquil environment of Bangsaen, a resort town in Thailand's east. Despite these beautiful surroundings you are only an hour from Bangkok and Suvarnabhumi International Airport and have all amenities and facilities close-by but if Bangsaen is too small for you then the international resort of Pattaya is only 30 minutes away.Over many years the Department established strong links with Industry because the Eastern Seaboard of Thailand is the industrial hub of Thailand. All courses were designed after full consultation with many Organisations and Industries in the area. Academics have often been considered remote from the real World so all our courses are developed and designed in consultation with potential employers and the Federation of Thai Industries, with whom a Memorandum of Understanding has been in place since 1999. They currently still play an important role with the new Faculty. Other organizations which the Faculty enjoys very strong links with include The Federation of Accounting Professionals, UMAP and JICA. All the top international companies such as Toyota, Ford, General Motors, Siam Cement Group as well as the top brands of international hotels, including Marriot, InterContinental, Hilton and the Accor Group take students on Co-operative Education and go on to offer full-time positions to Graduates. Our international students come from a wide range of Asian countries including, Laos, Cambodia, Bhutan and, of course, China. They enjoy learning from a combination of our own highly qualified lecturers, many of whom studied overseas, and a number of guest lecturers carefully chosen from industry and Government positions who are able to provide wide-ranging experience. Because so many of our Lecturers gained their qualifications overseas they also gained extensive experience of many different cultures equipping them to relate well with all our International Students as well as our Thai students. The Faculty recognises prior learning and if you possess a recognised Diploma then you can join their Continuing Education Program to obtain a bachelors degree in less than 4 years.
