Introduction
Society is constantly changing its face. So the young professional must be able to think the logic of his project in the face of a global context, analyze the issues, redefine specifications, be creative upstream of the formal translation, on the very reflection of the subject. To prepare for the third year, students present their work to juries composed of outside professionals and teachers of the school.
The subjects studied, the research conducted by the students are suggested or proposed based on real data. They are dual-purpose exercises , both "rehearsals" or simulations of a concrete situation and didactic materials. Conferences given by prominent personalities in their field are an opportunity to grasp various visions of the current world, to hear the point of view on a job, to think in groups and then to write individually.
Your training as an interior designer
The pupil must today be trained, at the same time as the particular techniques, each mode of expression, the capacity to conceive, to travel from one field to another, to the speed of mind and intellectual mobility, a broad culture and, above all, the need for constant
Engaged in professional life, the capacity to affirm an open creativity, to take conceptual initiatives, to put the intelligence of the project, to adapt to all kinds of cases are essential qualities. At the same time as it works to learn the required knowledge, the Charpentier Academy is particularly attentive to prepare students for this attitude of thought. It alone will enable them to become truly actors at the heart of this change, of this world in motion.

They are compulsory at the end of the 3rd year and supervised by a teacher (coaching, CV, book, internship research).
The main objective of these periods remains the matching of professional and technical practices acquired during the graduate cycle. They aim to facilitate the integration of students into the world of work and often lead to a first job . Thanks to the Erasmus charter, the internship can be an opportunity for immersion abroad.

Your future job, a plurality of opportunities
They are of course diverse, sometimes at the limit of other disciplines. The interior designer often works on a pre-existing architectural situation. It may be the development of private houses or apartments, but also public and commercial spaces, in areas as varied as an airport or a school, corporate offices or a fashion boutique.
However, museography, scenography, or just as well the planning of urban space are also part of this profession, which still deals with the design professions, with the design of furniture or objects.
The design covers a wide field, from styling, theatrical or cinema decor, to the mass industrial product, the design of a chair, through the brand image, the signage that brings it closer visual communication professions.
It is precisely on this versatility that the teaching is based which advocates above all an attitude of reflection, of intelligence of the project.
