Program Description

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Admission to the Master of Finance will require an undergraduate degree with a credit average from a recognised institution and completion of a subject deemed equivalent to either Fundamentals of Finance or Managerial Finance. A personal interview may also be required.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Master of Finance is a quantitatively rigorous program that will give you a strong understanding of financial principles and their application to corporate financial policy, international financial markets, derivative assets and their associated markets, plus a strong understanding of specialised aspects of the financial industry. You will benefit from close interaction with Bond’s global finance academics and exposure to our world-class trading facilities.

You must complete approved postgraduate elective subjects. Students without a business background or the required prerequisite subjects must complete the following foundation business subjects prior to commencing the program:

  • Accounting Principles
  • Analysis and Application
  • Economics for Business
  • Managerial Finance

PROFESSIONAL OUTCOMES

The Master of Finance will provide a pathway to a professional career with financial sector employers including commercial banks, insurance companies, merchant and investment banks, stockbrokers, superannuation funds and treasury.
