The MBA of Engineering

Managing a $200 million project is vastly different to working on a $200 million project. It takes vision, exceptional communication skills, broad industry knowledge, business acumen, and the ability to delegate effectively – even when your first instinct is to complete the task yourself.

Our Master of Engineering Management is the MBA for engineers. Taught by industry and academic leaders, it’s designed to prepare you to lead and innovate in the top tiers, work across any engineering discipline, or start your own firm or consultancy. Bolster your engineering foundation with units covering economic viability and sustainability, infrastructure longevity and stakeholder participation. And, add a business administration flavour to your degree by choosing units in entrepreneurship and marketing, accounting, project management and leadership.

A Master of Engineering Management from SCU Online will prime you for a future less “greenfield”. You’ll gain the skills to respond strategically to growing population demand for world-class infrastructure, as a versatile engineer who can manage multi-disciplinary teams, stakeholders, budgets and timelines. And, it can count towards your continued professional development (CPD) requirements with Engineers Australia or your relevant professional registering body.

The Master of Engineering Management can help you move up in your discipline, de-discipline (to work across engineering specialities as a manager) or strike out on your own. Where will your Master of Engineering Management lead?
