a) Prospective candidates will have obtained a BEd Hons.
b) Prospective candidates will have obtained a suitable four-year professional bachelor’s degree plus a teacher’s diploma/teaching qualification and work experience in the proposed field of specialization. The Education knowledge of such candidates will be assessed by the Head of Department and the subject expert in the proposed field of specialization and a reading program may be prescribed prior to allowing registration.
c) Prospective candidates will have obtained an appropriate honors degree and a teacher’s diploma/teaching qualification, plus work experience in the proposed field of specialization. The Education knowledge of such candidates will be assessed by the Head of Department and the subject expert in the proposed field of specialization and a reading program may be prescribed prior to allowing registration.
- Minimum duration: One-year formal instruction.
- The program is offered full-time or part-time

Award of master’s degree
The Masters of Education (Course work and Minor Dissertation) will be awarded to students who have completed all the prescribed requirements successfully.
