This Master’s programme focusses on developing skills for research and development in computer science. Students get first-hand experience in a challenging, creative, dynamic and multi-disciplinary environment, where they can contribute to the realisation of research projects.
The Master of Computer Science builds on the basic skills acquired during a Bachelor’s degree. Via theoretical and practical experience with methods, techniques, and tools, a strong scientific background is built up. This allows graduates from the program to become true innovators, both in industry and in academia (in a Ph.D.).
Students follow a personalized study track leading to expertise in one of the three majors of the program:
- Computer Networks and Distributed Systems
- Data Science
- Software Engineering
Students are integrated into leading research teams while they work on their Master’s dissertation and research internships. Direct interaction with professors, Ph.D. students and other staff members of the faculty enhances their research competences. Graduates can witness the development of new technological breakthroughs, even contribute to them, and adopt them before they are widely known.
Our program emphasizes deep knowledge and flexibility. As a result, our graduates are in high demand, both in industry and in academia.
