Introduction
This master's programme provides the broader, advanced, scientific knowledge and skills required for success within the professional sphere. Meanwhile, this programme places a particular focus on the science of civil engineering technology. You will examine the engineering behind the construction of buildings and structures; explore the design process and understand the technical execution and latest innovations. This process is driven and supported by technological developments, such as new materials and up to date design and dimensioning methods. You will also be introduced to entrepreneurship and will enhance your skills by collaborating in a joint multidisciplinary project with master students from arts and architecture.

Curriculum
In this one-year programme, you are required to take 7 compulsory courses and you can choose 3 multicampus modules focussing on state-to-the-art topics taught by the research groups on the campuses of Ghent, Bruges and De Nayer. The programme culminates in the completion of a master’s thesis.
