The Master of Business Information Systems prepares those with previous qualifications in any discipline for careers in big data analytics, information systems analysis and design, IT project management, business intelligence and enterprise systems.
The Master of Business Information Systems also provides advancement opportunities in the business management world for students with previous qualifications in any Information Communication and Technology discipline. If you have prior information and communication technology qualification, you have the option of being granted credit transfer (with a reduced fee) for one semester of study (which means the master degree can be obtained within 1.5 years instead of 2 years).
This program offers you the option of pursuing either an industrial experience path or to undertake a research project.
The MBIS requires the successful completion of
Volume 1: Four advanced preparatory units (24 points) and
Volume 2: Eight master core units (48 points).
This is followed by
Volume 3: Four application options (24 points), either:
