Master of Arts in Education with a specialty in Curriculum and Teaching in Early Education

General

Program Description

The School of Education is a learning community at the Ana G. Méndez University campus of Carolina. Developed to "think, build, inquire, investigate, serve and for the training and personal and professional development of teachers." According to the institutional mission, the learning paradigm, together with student attention, the constructivist approach and the cognitive-humanist theoretical framework are the center of the pedagogical performance of the school and its academic programs. Our baccalaureate, master's and professional certificate programs prepare the future teachers and leaders of our public and private education system, as well as other education professionals that our society needs. For our School, educating is its essence, providing an integrated curriculum to a philosophical-sociological-psychological framework, consistent with its goals and objectives, as well as an environment conducive to learning and for the continuous improvement of educational quality. Our commitment is to guide and collaborate with those initiatives that are inherent in our body of knowledge, including graduate programs.
