The department “Metrology and interchangeability” , created in 1931, provides training for masters under the program “Standardization and Metrology” , profile “Metrology and Metrological Support” .The field of professional activity of graduates is:development and practical implementation of standardization, certification and uniformity of measurement systems;
automation of measurement, control and testing processes in the production and conduct of scientific research;
management of the development and implementation of new measuring and testing equipment;
development of technologies and design of high-precision measuring instruments, control and diagnostics for the needs of instrument making, mechanical engineering and extractive industries;
research activities in the field of metrology, standardization and certification.On the basis of the department, the REC “Precision Metrological Support of Mechanical Engineering” was opened, engaged in the development of measuring instruments, control and diagnostics of functioning machines and mechanisms using the original technology created by the department. The department has developed and tested under industrial conditions a new phase-chronometric method and the properties of the precision study of functioning machines and cyclic mechanisms that implement it.
Within the framework of the federal target programs, research and development are carried out in the field of diagnostics of the condition of bearings, gearboxes, turbine units, hydraulic units, and cutting tools of machines with the precision phase-chronometric method.
Students of the department undergo practical training (with the possibility of further employment) at the enterprises:OJSC "Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant",
OJSC RSC Energia named after S.P. Queen",
SPC gas turbine "Salute",
FSUE VNITSMSV.Graduates are in demand by organizations:FKO "Roskosmos",
PJSC United Aircraft Corporation (UAC),
Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology "Rosstandart",
ROSATOM State Corporation,
LLC Gazprom UGS,
VNII metrological service,
Research Institute of Optical and Physical Measurements.List of documents for participation in the competition for magistracyThe list of documents submitted is determined by the Admission Rules and includes without fail:consent to the processing of personal data;

Inclusive (adapted) basic professional educational programs (AOPOP1 and AOPOP2) are a special form of implementation for students with disabilities of the usual OPOP in the areas of master training.
AOPOP ensure the creation of the necessary conditions to reduce the complexity of the development of ordinary OPOP due to the special organization of the educational process, increase the training period by 1 year (for master's programs by 6 months), an integrated system of support and training support. Inclusive (adapted) BEP ensure the preservation of health, high quality education in accordance with the high criteria of their own educational standard MSTU. N.E. Bauman. For applicants - hearing impaired - inclusive (adapted) programs are offered - AOPOP1.
Based on the positive experience, hearing-impaired applicants applying for inclusive (adapted) AOPOP1 programs are recommended to choose the four most promising areas of preparation: “Computer Science and Computer Engineering” (department IU5), “Automation of technological processes and production” (department. RK9), "Materials Science and Materials Technology" (Department MT8), "Metrology and Interchangeability" (MT4). The teaching staff of these departments over the years of training of students of the State University of Management and Management of Economics has accumulated considerable experience and developed their own teaching methods of disciplines.Admission to the magistracyPersons with higher education at any level are admitted to the first master's course.
Reception for training in master's programs (general or inclusive (adapted)) is carried out according to the results of entrance tests conducted by MSTU. N.E. Bauman.
For people entering the magistracy, the minimum required result of entrance exams is also established, confirming their successful passage.
This required minimum is 27 points and is the same for all areas of the magistracy and major departments.
Acceptance of documents from applicants to the magistracy is carried out: for places in the framework of the PCC - from July 1 to August 1; to places for training under contracts for the provision of paid educational services - from July 1 to August 29.
