MSM is a French-taught programme that enables you to gain the knowledge and improve your skills in the field of business, sales, and marketing. You will have an opportunity to get a diploma from two universities: a master degree from the University of Economics in Bratislava and Master 1 diploma (management track) or Master 2 diploma (financial management and the European area track) in European Studies awarded by our partner, the University of Lorraine. If you want to build a successful international career and French is your passion, then MSM is the right choice for you.
The curriculum of the programme consists of mandatory and elective courses. Those who wish to get the second degree from the University of Lorraine must take additional specialization courses. These are taught in cooperation with the Slovak-French University Institute by the University of Lorraine faculty and do not require study abroad.
The programme is open to applicants with a bachelor’s degree in management, economics and business-related disciplines (e.g. commerce, finance, travel and tourism, logistics, business informatics, etc.).
Applicants who have not finished their bachelor’s studies by the date of admission must provide an official confirmation of their ongoing studies along with the expected date of graduation. They can be given a conditional offer with the final decision to be taken upon delivery of the proof of completed bachelor’s programme.
The selection is based on the review of submitted documents.
Talented students with excellent academic performance are eligible for UEBA’s motivation scholarship.
A number of external scholarships is also available. Please contact the Slovak Academic Information Agency to find more. [link]
Students from Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, Ukraine and the rest of the Visegrad countries except for Slovakia can be considered for the Visegrad Scholarship. [link]
Please note that these are external scholarship schemes and are not administrated by the UEBA.
Double Degree programme
Preparing for an international career? You are invited to pursue the MSM as a double degree programme in partnership with the University of Lorraine in France. Students interested in double degree option must complete additional specialization courses taught by the French faculty at the University of Economics in Bratislava (Master 1 candidates) and complete two master theses (Master 2 candidate). The students are not required to study at the partner university in France, however, we strongly support international student mobility. Successful graduates are awarded both a diploma from the University of Economics and Master 1 or Master 2 diploma from the University of Lorraine.
