New graduate degree program (2 years/120 ECTS, full-time, fully taught in English) at the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics (FIS), University of Economics, Prague (VŠE).

The graduates of the program Quantitative Economic Analysis (QEA) will be able to use quantitative methods and tools in operational research, decision analysis, statistics and econometrics.

They will have gained experience with using different software products and will be able to build comprehensive optimization and econometric models and provide deep statistical analysis.

Career Prospects

QEA graduates will be qualified especially for positions in strategic, analytical and research departments of:

  • commercial and central banks,

The uneployment rate of our graduates is less then 0,9 %. Our graduates have also the highest starting salary from all VŠE alumni.

Minimum admission requirements

  1. Bachelor degree in a related field of study
  2. English language knowledge - corresponding to level B2 or higher
  3. Application documents: CV and Reference letter in English
  4. Entrance exam: a long-distance test ( comment on/interpret a small set of statistical data and outputs from statistical software programs or similar)
