Our joint degree program, offered in partnership with the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, leads to an M.S. in public relations and an M.A. in international relations and trains students to carry out public communications for governments, nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) and the private sector.
Public diplomacy is a new field that has grown out of a need for professionals who can effectively communicate with diverse national and international audiences. Cross-cultural communication presents complex challenges.
"I can't think of a more ideal program. It enhanced and challenged me academically but also prepared me for my current position."
- Jacqueline Cho '10Jr. associate, TAF'S Center for the U.S.- Korea Policy
