Why this study program?
The perspective. This program offers ‘deep’ internationalization. In your courses, you will work with a varied group of students and teachers with different skills, experiences and perspectives on what it means to be a public manager and how things done across the world. The skills. You will gain important analytical competences in the COMPASS training context, while at MRU, we focus on developing managerial skills for achieving short and long-term goals in public office where unstructured problems, unclear stakeholder interests are unclear and pressing deadlines are the routine.
The options. Plan you time and mobility! You can begin your studies in Vilnius and in Nijmegen. You can get both degrees at once, or with a semester’s difference.
The network. Vilnius and Nijmegen are on opposite ends of EU, multiple studies show that EU integration has a long way to go; an academic experience from very different EU countries is something that very few Europeans have, and is something that will give you an edge in the labor market across EU and beyond.
Graduates of university bachelor's studies in any study field can apply to this program; English language proficiency - the level not lower than B2 (following the Common Framework of Reference for Language approved by the Council of Europe). Distant English language level test is organized for those, who do not possess IELTS or TOEFL certificates. International mobility possibilities
Students can participate in ERASMUS+ mobility program which gives a possibility to study at a university abroad for 1 or 2 semesters and do an internship in another country.
Graduates can take up jobs as team leaders, project managers, strategic planning human resource officers throughout the EU – its member states’ public and non-profit organizations.
