Master in Product and Interior Design

Program Description

Ten extraordinary months. Learn from the industry’s top professionals.

For who?

The Master is designed for graduates in Design and Architecture, as well as young designers and curious professionals who are eager to open up to new aesthetic horizons. They will be the future protagonists of creative design. They will write the design agenda of tomorrow, companies, architecture and design studios, research groups, large global organizations, and even in contexts and professional fields that we still cannot imagine.

Students have the opportunity to experience different approaches to design according to different types of interlocutors. Our courses are structured to develop young designers into successful businessmen and women capable of offering solutions that can be integrated into consolidated production but also able to emerge in terms of personality.

Raffles Milano Master’s program brings knowledge into action in the classroom through hands on experiences with the top international design studios over the course of ten months. Learning directly from practitioners is the best way to pick up the most advanced visions and methods at source.

Course Leader Marc Sadler, Industrial designer

A Frenchman born in Austria, Marc Sadler has lived and worked as a designer in France, the United States, Asia and Italy. One of the first graduates in Esthétique industrielle at the ENSAD in Paris. The important awards and acknowledgements he has won over the years include four ADI Compasso d’Oro awards (1994, 2001, 2008 and 2014). The back protector he designed for Dainese features in the permanent collection at the MoMA in New York, while his Mite lamp for Foscarini can be seen in the design collection at the Centre Pompidou in Paris. He is so passionate about painting and drawing that he considers them to be his most authentic interests.

Learn directly from the protagonists means to acquire the source of the visions and the most advanced methods. Unlike the traditional Master, the Master Raffles Milano brings knowledge in the classroom through graphic studios at the top of the market that alternate in the classroom over the course of ten months.

For the quality and effectiveness of the didactic model, the Master has obtained the patronage:

Association for Industrial Design

Monday talk

Every Monday night, at 6pm, Raffles Milano invites students to meet a great character in the scene of design, style and culture of the project. Listening directly to the stories and ideas that influence the market and make our minds more progressive is a great opportunity to integrate academic programs. Here are the meetings of next year.

When we receive the required documentation and a motivational letter written by the Candidate, the Management will set the date for an introductory interview with the Course Leader or with the College Director if necessary. If their profile is considered suitable, candidates will receive official notice regarding the acceptance of their application, which in any case is non-binding for the Candidate.
