Introduction
The Master’s Degree in Fashion Management is focused on the specific characteristics of the fashion industry, which supposes a multidisciplinary approach to the reality of the modern companies, in that unification of creativity, marketing, and fashion communication, technology and innovation, and very importantly: fashion management.
The fashion industry is characterized by the complex management of production flows and the increasingly accelerated process times, added to the need of giving an immediate response to the market through control management, logistics, and operations.
Nowadays, the products cannot go by without the latest trends: at every stage, the product faces the new challenges of a global market and a globalized world. But also, the tools to stay competitive keep evolving.

Syllabus
The number of credits for the Master’s Degree in Fashion Management is 60 ECTS, to be taken in an academic year. The curriculum is structured in 7 modules, including the final master project and seminars/masterclasses.
Module 1: Contextualization of the environment (5 ECTS)Content: The world in the third millennium. Social transformations in the age of the knowledge society. The internationalization of trends and fashion.
Module 2: Communication in a global society (10 ECTS)Content: Fashion as a communication system in a global society. Corporate communication and digital communication. Fashion communication: advertising and media strategy. Fashion marketing: consumer analysis, digital marketing, techniques, and processes.
Module 3: Point of sale management (9 ECTS)Content: Merchandising, Location of the point of sale, Distribution of spaces, Point of sale management, and control systems.
Module 4: Management, control, and logistics (14 ECTS)Content: Introduction to accounting concepts, Cost management, Budget management, Corporate finance, Management control, Logistics, Legal aspects, Fiscal aspects, Social responsibility.
Module 5: Image consultancy and life cycle (5 ECTS)Content: Sociology, personal and corporate image. Symbology of fashion. The process of creating a fashion collection. Analysis and determination of trends and creative direction.
Module 7: Seminars / Masterclasses (2 ECTS)
