Located in the heart of International Geneva, half-way between Paris and Milan, close to the most prestigious actors in the world of Luxury, Geneva School of Business administration offers you a unique program.
The Master of Advanced studies in luxury management will allow you to grasp the universe of luxury, its activity sectors as well as its culture, its know-how and excellence. This program will enable you to analyze the complexity of the luxury market, to anticipate the mutations that companies in this industry are facing today.
For this unique program in Switzerland, the Geneva School of Business Administration has rallied prestigious partners such as the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), the Foundation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH) and the Geneva University of Art and Design (HEAD).
The Program will follow a “study plan” (series of modules) which will be announced at the beginning of each semester: 500 periods in total comprising of visits to firms and /or institutions. An e-learning /distance learning platform will be used for group work and to enable students to exchange information online.
This first year, the program will welcome from 15 to 25 participants.
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 to 3 years work experience. Candidates must be fluent in French and English. All applications will be examined by the admissions board and proof of work experience will be required.

Marketing based on emotion and exception
The exploration of activities in the luxury industry will lead you to understand what makes “ the perfect example ”

Operations management in luxury industry firms
Through courses grouping the foundations of controlling and finance, you will be able to adopt management’s most modern tools (i.e. scorecards).

Customer relations management
In the world of luxury, customers look for a particular emotion in their relation to the object or to the service. Participants will practice techniques such as :
- relationship marketing.
- quality management.
- CRM (Customer Relationship Management).
You will discover the relationship between luxury and artistic creation and be capable of understanding the creative process, its actors and stakes. Essentials notions will be addressed:
- excellence, aesthetics, innovation and exclusivity rights in relation to design
The Luxury market
You will extend your knowledge of the luxury industry by developing a better perception of its recent evolutions, the diversification of its markets.
- strategic diagnosis
You will develop a 360° vision of the world of luxury by studying its different industry sectors (hotel business, watchmaking, and jewelry, fashion and accessories, private banking), which will reveal their “Best Practices”. This cross-section approach of the luxury industry will open new horizons and favor your creativity.
Teaching methods will be diverse: classes, conferences, and seminars, workshops, case studies.
Costs for conferences/seminars (hotels and transport) are included in the fees (18600 EUR). Two Seminars will take place during the studies: The first one, at the beginning of the program, will take place in a city emblematic of the culture of Luxury (Paris, Florence or Milan). The second seminar, at the end of the program, will take place in a country which holds very high economic potential in the luxury industry (Japan, China, Russia, the US, India).
