ESH offers this postgraduate Master of Science in Paris, in partnership with London South Bank University.
This Master degree encourages an entrepreneurial approach to examining growth opportunities in tourism and hospitality businesses and destinations.
The degree emphasises the management of strategic issues that arise in the sector, including marketing, business development and management, leadership, ethical and sustainability issues. It will be relevant to those wanting to develop their management careers or own businesses in the Tourism and Hospitality fields.
It addresses the needs of both the commercial and non-commercial elements of the sector, the latter often requiring public/private partnership forms of governance.
The course develops the appropriate skills, tools and knowledge to operate innovatively in the global tourism and hospitality environments.
The nature of the teaching and assessment allows you to apply the theories and processes learnt in class to your preferred setting (eg public or private sector; tourism or hospitality industries; UK, European or international).
A Residential Field Trip in semester 2 is a compulsory element of the degree and is validated as part of the City Marketing unit. The trip will be to Bordeaux, exploring the future marketing and product development options open to the city authorities. The one-week field trip is included is the programs fees.
The program ends with 6 months internship. Internships are selected by ESH after an individual interview with each student, positions include assistant manager and positions in the support services of international hotel chains and luxury hotels.
