The curriculum Forecasting, Innovation and Change (FIC) provides students with a set of tools for implementing foresight thinking while dealing with traditional topics of interest in the field of International Relations. The curriculum core courses are related to foresight methodology, ranging from quantitative and qualitative methods to innovative future design techniques. A versatile foresight toolkit must integrate research methods of the social and natural sciences. As the big data revolution is helping to create new branches of science, and influencing areas of social science and the humanities, there is an unprecedented potential for bridging the gap between the "two cultures".
