Introduction
This is a one-year multi-disciplinary course reflecting the need for international leaders who can reach across specialist fields to find more innovative solutions to difficult complex public policy challenges. It is practical, responding directly to the demand for international experts with advanced skills in negotiation, management, and public policy analysis to deliver successful results. During this master, students learn how international public policies are made, implemented and evaluated by national governments, international institutions, multinationals and civil society as a whole.
This advanced master course prepares students with undergraduate degrees (or Italy’s laurea magistrale) to become international public affairs experts who can reach across specialist fields to find more innovative solutions to difficult complex public policy challenges. The direct link between theory to practice is at the basis of this Master course.
It is practical, responding directly to the rising demand of international experts with advanced skills in negotiation, management, and public policy analysis to deliver successful results. During this master, students learn how international public policies are made, implemented and evaluated by national governments, international institutions, multinationals and civil society as a whole.
Students, therefore, will benefit from regular interactions with renowned global personalities through a set of parallel activities:
Guest Lectures: practitioners are invited to share their experiences.
Policy Debates: students are invited to exchange views in structured debates on current issues of public policy, moderated by public policy experts;
Colloquia: faculty members are to team up with guest practitioners to examine and present case studies linking theory to practical application;

Program Structure
The one-year full-time program is aimed at graduates and young professionals who hold at least an undergraduate degree (B.A. or its international equivalent or Italy's Laurea Magistrale). It is fully taught in English and has an international student body and faculty.
At the end of the master participants will be able to:
Learn how to balance a problem-solving approach with a sound understanding of underlying patterns and processes of international affairs and public policy making
Explore the intersections of state, economy, and civil society while focusing on the growing importance of private institutions and models of multi-stakeholder governance.
Work and interact with students, faculty, and practitioners from all world regions
The master consists of:
Twelve compulsory core courses with related seminars;
Elective courses to be chosen out of indicated options (for 10 ECTS);
Selected guest Academics and guest Professionals;
Networking meetings with national and international government officials, private sector representatives, and leading academics;
Final 15-20.000 dissertation or project work.
