LUISS Business School

The LUISS MIM Program is a unique training program aimed at young graduates from a variety of study disciplines who are motivated to become global managers. Students will be exposed to top academics and seasoned executives to develop the business skills required to operate in international contexts and to work effectively in multicultural environments and in organizations characterized by a strong international vocation.

Program overview

The MIM curriculum helps discover how Made in Italy leaders win in established and emerging markets, developing an entrepreneurial mindset with a global outlook. MIM’s courses merge functional & cross-functional knowledge to enable students to advance skills in the functional areas of international business as well as acquire perspectives and contexts to build cross-functional skills. It focuses on personal development. The program lasts one-year. It is full-time and is divided into 3 terms.

PRE-PROGRAM ACTIVITIES

  • Soft landing: aims at students socialization with each other and with the LUISS Business School organization
  • Toolbox: provides students with the rules and the soft skills needed to successfully address the MIM Path
  • Italian Crash Program: intensive course of Italian language
  • Tailoring the Program: assessment, coaching, mentoring, and orientation for job placement

III TERM – INTERNATIONAL FIELD PROJECT

Students complete the program with a field project, that consists of individual assignments to be accomplished under the supervision of a company mentor and an academic tutor, oriented at solving a real company problem identified by LUISS BS Corporate Partners. The project enables graduates to undertake international careers paths in a wide range of organizations such as:

  • industrial multinational firms;
  • consulting firms;
  • small- and medium-sized firms that pursue internationalization strategies;
  • universities or other organizations contributing to international research projects;
  • national and international public administration and policy organizations or institutions for foreign trade.

LEARNING LABs

Students develop soft skills by attending a variety of Learning Labs carefully integrated into the MIM program. Lab sessions enable students to cultivate their intellectual flexibility; develop problem-solving competencies and approaches to cope with diverse situations; refine cross-cultural awareness.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • Undergraduate DEGREE in economics, social sciences, science, and engineering or related fields
  • GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH
  • ADMISSION TEST (mandatory)
