Objectives

The Master's main objectives are to provide complementary and specialized training in the fields of international economics (theoretical and applied, real and monetary) and to study the current characteristics and trends of the processes of globalization and economic integration, favoring a multidisciplinary, economic approach , political, legal and institutional aspects of European integration and its current issues.

Recipients

The master's degree is mainly intended to complete first cycle training for all those interested in acquiring specialized and vocational skills in the fields of the international economy and the European economy and institutions; in particular, is intended for those interested in a career in Community and international institutions, in diplomatic services, in international affairs or in specialized journalism, in teaching and scientific research activities, as well as in public or private training needs in the area.

Access Skills and Selection Criteria

Candidates of holders of a national or foreign equivalent academic degree equivalent to the 1st cycle in the areas of economic sciences and social sciences in general are considered candidates. Other applications considered appropriate by the scientific and pedagogical committee are also evaluated. Candidates are assessed on the basis of the final grade of the 1st cycle, curricular analysis and an interview.

Organization

The master's degree is organized in four semesters, making 120 credits. The first three semesters are fully filled with the curricular component in a total of 78 credits, aiming to equip the student with the instrumental, interpersonal and systemic skills related to training in international economics and in European studies. The fourth and final semester is devoted to the preparation of the final master's thesis (dissertation, project work or internship) - a total of 42 credits (of which 12 credits are obtained in the 3rd semester).
