THIS PROGRAM IS TAUGHT IN SPANISH
The Master of Interior Design defines and develops the essential concepts of interior design in order to understand the relationship between the user and space around him or her, a space that has evolved along with new trends and lifestyles.
Experimentation through our five senses is an essential part of the Master’s approach, which delves into concepts such as volume, materials, light, transparencies and the spatial journey and rhythm as elements that create sensations and experiences, creating a solid foundation for innovative solutions.
The Master in Interior Design proposes a research process that materializes into projects on the various kinds of spaces, lending them an open approach, experimenting with a range of spaces: residential, commercial, exhibition, multi-use, ephemeral, etc., to offer students a comprehensive view of their future professional activity.
Students achieve a high level of specialization in the interior design environment. During the Master of Interior Design, they investigate, analyze and examine in depth the design with a view close to the art, architecture or construction, acquiring knowledge that makes easy to face any type of project of spaces.
Throughout the master, aspects such as sensory experience in the spatial game, isolated or together, the sensitive use of light, transparency, paths, rhythm and the tectonic condition of the materials are taken into consideration.
After completing the course, students are able to master the implementation of the design in its context, the volumetry, the relationship with the pre-existing and the scale and proportion control. They are also able to establish the priorities of a space requirement program, the viable technical solutions, the project budget control and finally the public communication of the same.
