The program

The Master’s programme in Information Systems, with its majors in Business Process Management, Data Science, and Data & Application Security provides well-grounded methodological competences at the intersection between information technology and business required in the digital world. With this, the programme focuses on skills related to improving organizational efficiency and innovativeness using the transformative power of information systems.

The programme has been developed based on industry demands and is aimed particularly at fostering professional careers in international settings. As a part of international project teams, students develop social competences that are highly relevant in the dialogue between various stakeholders and business sectors. Graduates of the Master’s degree programme in Information Systems are thus well prepared for a career as future leaders in internationally operating businesses.

The specialisation in Business Process Management focuses on methodological competences for the analysis, implementation, improvement, and continuous management of business processes. The specialisation in Data Science focuses on methodological competences for turning information into competitive advantage and innovation. The specialisation in Data & Application Security focuses on methodological competences in addressing threats to the security of data and applications and in assessing risks associated with these threats.
