The Master in Finance is aimed at professionals with excellent academic references and interests in participating in the financial system of the country. The program, framed in the context of business, seeks a balance between the theoretical and empirical aspects of finance, trying different aspects with the rigor that analysis and financial management requires.

Program Overview

The Master in Finance is aimed at professionals with excellent academic references and interests in participating in the financial system of the country. The program, framed in the context of business, seeks a balance between the theoretical and empirical aspects of finance, trying different aspects with the rigor that analysis and financial management requires.

The program includes a common trade where students will develop the skills training required to perform properly in the financial field. In the second part of the program, students choose a specialization area it may be Corporate Finance or Investment; according to the interests, they present. From here the subjects will be specially designed to have an outstanding performance in either area.

The program can be studied in two ways:

  • Full-Time
  • Part-Time

Full-Time Plan

The Master in Finance Full Time is designed so the students will dedicate 100% of his time to study, this will allow the student to complete the total credits in 5 quarters.


It requires great dedication in this mode since it will have 12-hour weekly classes, which will require the student about 24 hours more for the understanding of the material, as well as the resolution of homework and assignments.


Classes and seminars can be scheduled at any time of day, even on Saturdays in the morning, so the student will need a total availability.

Part Time Plan

The Master in Finance of Part-Time is designed so that students attend classes two or three times per week in sessions of 3 hours each.


The time required for review and resolution of homework and assignments is high (about 13 hours per week), so the student needs great dedication to successfully complete 100% of the credits.


The classes will be programmed at times accessible, usually Monday through Friday from 19:00 to 22:00 hrs. However, there is a possibility to attend a class two days a week from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. or on Saturday mornings.

Admission Requirements

To be considered as a candidate to enter the program is needed to meet the following requirements:

1. A complete semester or two-quarters of Differential and Integral Calculus

2. Bachelor's degree or completed graduate studies with a commitment to get the degree in a six months period from the time of inscription.

3. An average of 8.0 (eight) in the bachelor's degree.

4. Present and approve the admission exam.

Note: If aspiring foreign and/or residing outside the country, the review may be filed GMAT or GRE, sending the results thereof together with the corresponding shift documentation (admission procedure steps 1-2).
