EUROPEAN STUDIES AND PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION (offered at the Bulgarian-Romanian Interuniversity Europe Centre /BRIE/ of the University of Ruse)
The interdisciplinary content of this master program develops knowledge, skills, and competencies for professional realization in the field of public administration within a European context.
The curriculum includes subject units from the following modules: Politics and Policies: European Integration, International Organizations, Common Policies of the European Union; Economics and Management: Economics and Regional Development, European Social and Economic Development, Management of Regional and Cross-Border Projects; Administration and Law: Public Administration and European Integration, Comparative Administration, European e-administration, European Public Administration Good Practices, European Law; Transferable skills: Quantitative Methods of Regional and EU Analysis, Teamwork and Leadership; Language and communication skills: German, Bulgarian, Romanian, Intercultural Communication, Professional Communication.
International lecturers from BRIE partner universities conduct their courses either in English or in German. Summer school at European Union Institutions in Brussels is organized by BRIE to cover the latest developments of European integration between the second and the third semester. Third semester at a partner university in Germany - Chemnitz University of Technology, European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) and University of Regensburg welcome students with successful academic performance.
The duration of studies is 2 years. The tuition fee is 500 EUR per semester.
