Introduction
The aim of this master program is to provide students with knowledge and abilities in the area of economic data analysis. This covers many topics related to data acquisition, data processing, data dissemination and communication, data analysis including advanced statistical and econometric modelling and working with specialised statistical and econometric software as well.

EDA has two specializations: Master in Official Statistics (MOS) and Data Analysis and Modelling (DAM), EDA students choose their specialization during their first semester.
EDA students can either take part in an intership (MOS) or in an exchange semester (DAM, optional).
EDA's specialization MOS has been internationally accredited with the EMOS label, awarded by the European Statistical Commmittee.

EDA graduates will be qualified especially for positions in:
strategic,
analytical,
research departments
of commercial and central banks, national and international statistical institutes, consulting companies, financial or government institutions, marketing agencies, and large industrial firms.
EMOS label
MOS specialization is also accredited with the EMOS label (European Master in Official Statistics), awarded by the European Statistical System Committee (ESSC) only to programs which fulfill strict requirements and offer high-quality education.
Minimum admission requirements
Bachelor/undergraduate degree, preferably in a related field of study.
English language knowledge: corresponding to level B2 or higher of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)

120 ECTS/ two years study program
Full-time program
Two specializations: Master in Official Statistics (MOS) and Data Analysis and Modelling (DAM), students choose their specialization during the first semester
MOS - compulsory courses 64 ECTS, elective courses 15 ECTS, intership in the national or international statistical insitute or in the central bank for 30 ECTS
DAM - compulsory courses 90 ECTS, elective courses 18 ECTS, exchange semester at the partner university in the 3rd semester - optional
