The comparative study of business models and best practices of management in the cross-culture environment useful for the international companies doing business in Russia as well as for the Russian companies working abroad.
The purpose of the program is to train experts up to a world-class level in the field of international management so they will have a knowledge of modern economic and management theory, the real-life expertise of the leading Russian and international companies, and the skills to apply this knowledge in the real international business.
The program is focused distinctly on theoretical and practical aspects of international management and thus on comparative research on the business and economic models of cross-culture management, and as well on the best practices of companies working in Russia and abroad.
The program offers students and researchers a wide range of courses in Russian/International Management. Lectures and seminars delivered by renowned Russian and internationally recognized professors are focused not only on the classic theory but also on the recent research results and real situations of the modern economy. The leading figures of Academia and Russian and international top-managers are also involved in the academic process.
The program is working in close contact with Russian Academy of Sciences, and with the leading Russian and international companies.
All courses in the program are approved by the State University of Management and listed in the academic schedule. Teaching is in English and takes place at the Business Center of SUM in Moscow. Optional courses in Business Russian Language and Business English Language are also available.
