- Theory and Practice of Organizational and Technological and Economic Decisions
This major enables our graduates to carry out activities on management of building and design organizations, as well as apply their knowledge in research and educational work. 2 years of study guarantee broad outlook in the most demanded fields of knowledge – economically justified decision making in case of construction arrangement and work performance technology. Master students have a great number of class courses. Besides, they are participants in research work on more than 25 areas of the Department. That’s why the Department has state-of-the-art research equipment and software tools. It systematically improves laboratory facilities.
- Design Theory and CAD of Building Structures
The program enables students to gain and deepen knowledge of calculation, design, and construction of elements and structures of different construction projects, including multi-story buildings, building envelopes considering statistic and dynamic loads.
Students get familiar with methods of calculation of multi-story buildings and structures applying high-performance software systems, which help to perform strength, stability and deformation analysis of all structural components. Considerable attention is paid to the construction of components and work of joints and node points.
Students undergo educational and research training, in the course of which they obtain practical skills in communication with students and skills in conducting research studies for their graduate qualification works.
Students who received the master’s degree diploma in the field of Construction have an opportunity to continue their studies in the postgraduate department and defend a candidate’s dissertation in the field “Engineering Structures, Buildings and Facilities”, work as research fellows in research institutions, and hold executive positions in design and construction companies.
