This course aims to introduce the basic mathematical concept and to develop arguments presented in the introductory section in order to provide students with operational tools to be applied both during this course and in other courses where quantitative methods are used, namely in Financial Mathematics or Statistics. At the end of this course, students will have mastered the appropriate tools to better understand both mathematical and quantitative aspects of economic models.

Teaching Methodology

CSSS offers blended study with an elevated level of autonomy in time and place. Blended learning is an education program that combines online digital media with traditional classroom methods students can download the teaching and learning materials from CSSS and work on them when and where it suits them.

They work autonomously in time and place but are always in contact with faculty, fellow students, and the CSSS’s support services. Through the personal customized learning environment on CSSS, students receive the latest updates, e-mails, and all the information which are necessary to concentrate fully on the studies. Exercises and tests to check the personal progress, plus learning forums and moderated chats, further facilitate the blending study process.

*For Non-EU students, it’s important that they to apply for the students' visa and their presence in Spain during the study is a must.

Module Overview


    The course aims at giving students basic knowledge concerning the development of firm strategies, the competitive advantage of the firm and the business plan.
    The course aims at introducing the students to the analysis and solution of some decisional problems that are particularly important in practice.
    Classification of mathematical models and identification of the mathematical models.
    To develop competencies and skills in the design and programming of complex software applications.
    Control of a distributed system task scheduling in a distributed system, elements of a distributed system And SCADA system.
    The course focuses on the study, planning, design, and uses of the interfaces between people (users) and computers, focusing on cognitive processes, design methodologies, and validation systems.
    The first part of the course provides the theoretical basis for the kinematic and dynamic analysis of machines for motions in the space.


    This course provides knowledge in the following fields classification and description of the instrumentation which is typically employed in the field of automation.
    Giving the students the basic concepts of computer security such as confidentiality, authentication, integrity, privacy, and accounting.
    To introduce a set of advanced methodologies for the control of dynamic systems, with applications in the fields of automation and telecommunications.
    Provide the student with the basic tools for knowledge extraction from data analysis.
    This course aims at providing the student with recent transmission and signal processing techniques.
    Final Examination.

Admission at CSSS sets minimum criteria which have been designed to identify applicants who have sound academic potential and who show creativity, critical thinking, social and moral values, evidence of English language proficiency and strong motivation.

  • Bachelors diploma (original together with a sworn translation into English or Spanish).
  • English Proficiency.

Mature Student

If you have relevant qualifications or work experience, academic credit may be awarded towards your CSSS program of study. For further information please visit your course coordinator

English language requirements

  • You must have competence in the English language to study with us. The most commonly accepted evidence of English language ability is IELTS 5.5 (with minimum 5.0 in all components).
  • If you don't meet our minimum English language requirements, students must take CSSS online English test.

For this scholarship, CSSS is seeking female leaders who have experience and understand today’s global working environment.

The Accredited Disability Grant is a discretionary fund intended to help support students with disabilities who are not eligible for statutory funding.
