Introduction
Degree program in a nutshell
Chamber Music is a new follow-up Master’s study program, offered by the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music from the academic year 2021/22. The program is suitable for Bachelor’s-level music graduates who wish to specialize in chamber music. While the students of Chamber Music continue to develop their skills as solo performers, the majority of practical music tuition is focused on playing in a chamber ensemble. The course is concluded by a state examination. Graduates receive the title “MgA.”

What will you learn?
Students of Chamber Music have the unique opportunity to develop their musicianship as part of a stable ensemble throughout the course of their studies, working under the supervision of first-rate artists/pedagogues with years of professional experience in chamber music performance. Students will gain stage experience in concerts organized by the Faculty and other collaborating professional institutions. On finishing the course, graduates will emerge as mature artists/ensembles capable of highly confident, original, and convincing interpretation of extensive and stylistically diverse repertoire of chamber music.
