Master in Business Engineering

ICHEC Brussels Management School

Program Description

Master in Business Engineering

ICHEC Brussels Management School

This program is taught entirely in French.

Master in Business Engineering

This master's degree is the logical extension of the bachelor degree in Business engineering. Two specific specialization majors have been implemented for future business engineers. Moreover, students round off this training by choosing one minor.

In addition to the common 'core' program, students are presented with two major options:

  • Technology management
  • Fiscal engineering

The range of minors offered by ICHEC enables students to choose a curriculum that best fits in with their projects and needs. The minors deal with one of the specialized areas of business management through a cross-disciplinary approach.

Final-year projects (internship and Master thesis) will be followed through in several seminars and will be dealt with as in-company project management assignments.

A student graduating from this program will qualify as «Master in Business Engineering».

Beware that the program is only available in French.

Internships and thesis work

The internship is to be the basic link between practical experience and thesis work. The mission of the student is to manage a project determined by the enterprise. The student commits himself/herself to do everything he/she can to produce practical and useful results that show that the student mastered the project.

The 5-month and a half internship is spread out over three periods of the second year;

  • the first one-month period (between the 2 years of the Master's degree program) enables the students to get used to the organization, to understand the affixed problem, to specify objectives and how the work will take place;
  • The second one-month and a half period take place during the first semester of the 2nd year. It gives students the opportunity to identify possible solutions and start working on the solution they have chosen;
  • The third 3-month period takes place during the second semester of the 2nd year. Students use this period to finalize the solution, implement it and assess it.
This school offers programs in:
  • French
